Send message

To compose a message:

  1. Click
  2. Complete the fields
  3. Standard Compose Message options

    TO:Enter one or more addresses for recipients to whom you want to send the message. You can type a partial name or email address and the system will automatically display all entries from your contacts that match. Alternatively, you can select contacts by clicking the TO button. In the Select contact dialog that appears, you can select contacts from an address book.

    CC: Enter one or more addresses for recipients to whom you want to send a copy of the message. You can type a partial name or email address and the system will automatically display all entries from your contacts that match. Alternatively, you can select contacts by clicking the CC button. This provides similar options to clicking the TO button. You can also use BCC in a similar way.

    Subject: Provide a brief description of the message.

  4. To save a draft copy of the message, click Save draft.
  5. To display more compose options, click Options.
    • Priority: Set the importance of your mail for the recipient. Select either High, Normal, or Low.
    • Send Receipts:Select "When message has been delivered" to request a receipt when a massage has been delivered, and select "When message has been read" to request a receipt when a massage has been read.
  6. To send the message, click Send
  7. To save the message as a draft click Save or to close the email without saving click Discard.

If you close the compose window before sending, the message is saved as a draft. To finish editing and send a draft, click on the message in the Drafts folder. A preview of the message is displayed. Click the Edit button to resume editing.
